Charity Support

CFA members support a range of national and local and national charities.  Member companies, their staff and customers raise money, donate a variety of equipment and also get involved as volunteers.

Dreams Come True

Cash Converters has been supporting national childrens charity Dreams Come True since 2008. Since then the company has raised over 100,000 for the charity that fulfils the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children.

Franchisees and staff from stores across the UK have supported and carried out a number of fundraising initiatives including an online charity auction, an annual golf day, charity fun days in store, a London to Cambridge bike ride and a 179 mile walk in just 12 days.

The partnership has struck a chord, not just with Cash Converters, but with its customers as theyve done their bit by purchasing Dreams Come True pin badges and bags for life from stores.

Helen & Douglas House

Helen & Douglas House provide respite and end of life care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions, as well as support and friendship for the whole family.

The two hospice houses are bright, vibrant and positive places, where the emphasis is on living life to the full, even when that life may be short.

MEM Consumer Finance Ltd adopted Helen & Douglas House as its sole corporate charity in September 2009. In just over six months MEM has raised over 120,000 through corporate sponsorship; employee fundraising days; sponsored events; payroll giving and other events. They have also sent 8,000 worth of new and used goods to the hospice to be sold in their charitable stores; donated 20,000 worth of furniture to fit out the fundraising offices and MEM employees have volunteered hundreds of hours working in the hospices and helping with fundraising events in aid of the charity.

The Money Shop and Help for Heroes

The Money Shop is proud to support Help for Heroes, which raises funds to help members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.

Employees from The Money Shop stores across the UK will be demonstrating their support through a series of fundraising activities including the sale of wristbands and by displaying collection tins in store.

Funding raised through The Money Shop will provide injured servicemen and servicewomen with the very best facilities and treatment to help them recover from their injuries and rebuild their careers and lives.
